Trish Booth

Born in Hillsboro, Oregon, Trish Booth grew up on her family's wheat and cattle ranch in Montana's Highwood Mountains. The Big Sky Country made a lasting impression on a young girl with a bent toward art. The wide-open spaces, ranches, barns, bunkhouses, and abandoned buildings fed the sensibilities of her imagination. During her youth, her family's multi-generational ranching heritage came to an end when her grandparents sold the ranch and retired. She returned to city life in Oregon but never forgot her roots.

Trish graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute with a BFA in Painting in 1988. She remained in the Bay Area until 2007 when she and her husband relocated to Truchas, New Mexico to paint full-time.
